Surahyo Sumarsono, B.Eng., M.Eng, Sc
Surahyo Sumarsono is theDirector and Senior Consultant of Kertiyasa Niwanda Kawasita (2017 – now), and Lecturer of Information Technology subjects in various universities (Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Islam Indonesia and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta). Currently, he is a technical team for Telemedicine Indonesia (Temenin) program in Ministry of Health Indonesia since 2015 and a telemedicine expert for Assessment Telemedicine Service in Pandemic Situation in Indonesia project by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) since August 2020.
He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Muroran Institute of Technology Japan (1994) supported by Science and Technology Manpower Development Program (STMDP) scholarship from Ministry of Research and Technology Indonesia. Following that, he obtained Master of Engineering Science in the University of Melbourne Australia (2001) supported by Australia Development Scholarship (ADS) program.
After his bachelor graduation, he served as a researcher in National Atomic Energy Agency (BATAN) from 1994 to 1998, then he managed an IT Company (Inixindo Jogja) as a director from 2001 to 2010. He has been as an IT Consultant which held IT Professional Certifications in area of Health Informatics (Telemedicine/mHealth), IT Management/Governance and Network & Security since 2001 until now, helping various organizations from industries, universities, governments, hospitals, and many others. He has been also involved in various research projects in Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta since 2015, especially in Health Informatics topics.
