Pembuat kebijakan kesehatan dan pengelola organisasi kesehatan memerlukan dukungan sistem informasi yang handal agar dapat membuat keputusan manajemen yang tepat. Terdapat beberapa sistem yang dikembangkan pada laboratorium SIMKES untuk membantu pelayanan dan pelaporan di institusi kesehatan seperti Puskesmas, rumah sakit dan dinas kesehatan.
SISFOMAS atau Sistem Informasi Manajemen Puskesmas merupakan aplikasi yang membantu lembaga pelayanan kesehatan di tingkat primer untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan baik secara promotif, preventif, kuratif sampai rehabilitatif dengan dukungan manajerial yang handal. Sisfomas ini memberikan kemudahan dalam manajemen Puskesmas.
SIMRS merupakan aplikasi berbasis web yang dirancang untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional dan manajemen rumah sakit agar menghasilkan pelayanan yang efisien, efektif, melindungi keselamatan pasien dan meningkatkan daya saing rumah sakit.
SISDINKES atau Sistem Informasi Dinas Kesehatan merupakan aplikasi yang membantu lembaga pe-regulasi, penyandang dana, sekaligus pemberi pelayanan kesehatan yang memerlukan dukungan manajemen informasi yg handal. Aplikasi ini mampu menjawab kebutuhan dinas kesehatan dalam menjalankan fungsi utama pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat di tingkat lokal sekaligus mempermudah integrasi informasi dengan jajaran sektor kesehatan yang lebih tinggi di dinas kesehatan tingkat propinsi maupun nasional.
SIMO atau Sistem Informasi Manajemen Obat merupakan aplikasi berbasis desktop untuk manajemen data obat, distribusi obat dan integrasi layanan farmasi. SIMO terintegrasi langsung dengan layanan layanan obat Pcare dan layanan distribusi data obat dari E-Logistik (Kemenkes).
Adanya pengembangan sistem dari tingkat Puskesmas hingga nasional yang belum saling terintegrasi maka diperlukan strategi untuk mengintegrasikan dan menginreroperabilitaskan. Standar interoperabilitas yang sedang dikembangkan menggunakan kaidah Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR).
